March 29, 2010 - Joseph P. Karpinski, CPA, CFA, AIF®, joins Yanni Partners as Senior Director of Business Development/Senior Consultant.

Yanni Partners, a Division of GBS Investment Consulting, LLC, is pleased to announce the addition of Joseph P. Karpinski, CPA, CFA, AIF®, as Senior Director of Business Development / Senior Consultant. Mr. Karpinski will lead the firm’s business development and strategic planning efforts on a national level and will provide institutional investment consulting services to the firm’s clients.

Mr. Karpinski’s experience includes working as a national director for Wells Capital Management and as a managing director in consultant relations for Evergreen Investments, both in Charlotte, NC. He also served as a national director and principal in marketing/client services for Ernst & Young.

Mr. Karpinski previously worked with Yanni Partners as Director of Marketing and Client Services through the mid-1990s. He has been involved in the investment management field since 1982, and has earned a number of professional credentials, including Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst and Accredited Investment Fiduciary®.

Mr. Karpinski has been published in Healthcare Financial Management and the CPA Journal. He is a recipient of the Joseph E. Sterrett Fellow Award for Service from the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Mr. Karpinski will maintain offices in both Pittsburgh, PA and Charlotte, NC.

October 9, 2008 - Renee Lindemann joins Yanni Partners as Business Development Associate

Yanni Partners, a Division of GBS Investment Consulting, LLC, is pleased to announce the addition of Renee Lindemann as Business Development Associate. Ms. Lindemann supports the Firm in marketing, events, writing and design.

Prior to joining Yanni Partners, Ms. Lindemann served as copywriter for General Nutrition Corporation's marketing department. In that role, she managed internal and external content for direct mail pieces, visual merchandising, Web sites, newsletters, public relations initiatives and more. She also worked as marketing coordinator at Rea & Associates, Inc., a regional accounting and business consulting firm.

Ms. Lindemann earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Kent State University, where she graduated Cum Laude.

May 27, 2008 - Jessica Lang joins Yanni Partners as Investment Consulting Analyst

Yanni Partners, a division of GBS Investment Consulting, LLC, is pleased to announce the addition of Jessica Lang as a Consulting Analyst. Ms. Lang supports the Consulting Staff in various projects including preparation of quarterly client reports and report graphics. She assists with presentation materials, research projects and manager searches.

Prior to joining Yanni Partners, Ms. Lang coordinated the managed accounts internal marketing and client service at Chartwell Investment Partners, where she also worked on composite performance calculation, web site design and updates, requests for proposals, and assisted the Fixed Income Group. In addition, Ms. Lang worked at SEI Investments in Back Office Transfers to process transfer requests in the Private Trust department.

Ms. Lang received her B.S. in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University.

April 7, 2008 - Joshua Armstrong joins Yanni Partners as Investment Consulting Analyst

Yanni Partners, a division of GBS Investment Consulting, LLC, is pleased to announce the addition of Joshua Armstrong as a Consulting Analyst. Mr. Armstrong supports the Consulting Staff in various projects including preparation of quarterly client reports and report graphics. He assists with presentation materials, research projects and manager searches.

Prior to joining Yanni Partners, Mr. Armstrong served as Operations Manager at the Bank of New York Mellon. In addition, he was Systems Analyst at the University of Pittsburgh, and a Systems Analyst for Parker Hannifin Corporation.

Mr. Armstrong received his M.B.A. and M.S. from the University of Pittsburgh. He earned his B.S. from Grove City College.
